Should have made it a four day weekend..
7:55 Benjamin pukes. Multiple times. In his bookbag. On his bookbag. Shirt and pants. Everything. Takes every fiber of my being not to throw up while helping him get cleaned up and settled in the office.

A Black History Month honor
My kids have little books that we read all week and then they get about 10 minutes to color them before they take them home on Friday. As I walk around, I make comments about how nice they’re coloring and they point out something they’ve done as well. This was today:

During Calendar this morning (luckily after an observer left), Carmen smelled her hands and remarked, “My hands smell like Calvin.” This probably isn’t funny to you at all, but we had a good laugh in Room 104.
Sidenote: Calvin uses a good smelling soap so this isn’t a bad thing.
