By 8:15, CJ had already taken multiple trips to the bathroom. As Mr. N, the Health teacher walked in, CJ followed and had something to share with me.
CJ: Um, I still have the runs pretty bad so I don’t know if I should be at school.

7:55 Benjamin pukes. Multiple times. In his bookbag. On his bookbag. Shirt and pants. Everything. Takes every fiber of my being not to throw up while helping him get cleaned up and settled in the office.

A Black History Month honor
My kids have little books that we read all week and then they get about 10 minutes to color them before they take them home on Friday. As I walk around, I make comments about how nice they’re coloring and they point out something they’ve done as well. This was today:
